Me and my golf

I grew up in Denmark, where I learned to play golf at age three because of my dad. As golf turned into a passion, I found a fantastic coach in Lars Michael Jacobsen when I was 6 years old. Now my awesome mom knew my potential and always took me to my tournaments all around Denmark- which she actually still does today when I’m back in the country. I am incredibly fortunate to have a family who completely supports me and a girlfriend who propels me to reach my full potential.

National Team
I have formed part of the Golf National Team of Denmark from 2012 to 2015 by playing in different European Team Championships. In 2014, I represented Denmark in the Team World Championship in Japan. In the summer of 2015 I participated in the European Team Championship, where we won the Silver Medal, the best result ever in Danish history. It has been a great honor being able to represent my country.

College
I currently attend college in the United States because of a full golf scholarship that was offered to me. I had four great years at the University of Texas at El Paso, where I played against some of the best amateur golf players in the world. Playing college golf was a great preparation for my professional career. I will receive a degree in Finance from UTEP in December 2015.  I am very thankful for the time I have had with my teammates and coach while attending college.

Philosophy
My philosophy in golf and in life, is that if I work harder than everybody else, then I will come out on the other side stronger and better than my competition- the exact reason why I practice my butt off. I love practicing, if I work on my game while my competition is sleeping or relaxing, I have the edge when coming down the stretch. I want to be the best at what I do, and I want to do anything it takes for me to get to the level that I need to be at to become one of the greatest.
